Homemade Turmeric Cinnamon Lemongrass Tea
The benefits of turmeric I list in detail in my post “Benefits of Turmeric” some main ones are anti-inflammatory, liver protection, keeps diabetes at bay and pain relief. Since I quite daily coffee, I enjoy warm beverages such as this easy homemade turmeric tea, it is simple to make and one of the best things about making it, is the cinnamon aroma throughout my home.
Turmeric Cinnamon Lemongrass Tea Recipe
Ingredients
- a few chunks of turmeric root
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 four inch pieces of lemongrass
- 8 cups of filtered water
Directions
Simmer a pot of the filtered water with the rest of the ingredients with a lid for 20 minutes. Strain and serve! SO EASY SO Delicious! SO Good for you!
What is your favorite warm beverage?
- 2 chunks of turmeric root
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 four inch pieces of lemon grass
- 5 cups of filtered water
- Put ALL ingredients in small pot with lid on stove, put the flame on low/simmer and just let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Until the water turns rich red/orange.....
- Your entire home will have the cinnamon aroma, LOVE that part!
- Once your tea is ready, rich red/orange in color, just strain the liquid into a mug and sip away!
