Heavenly Blueberry Banana Smoothie
I am back and Smoothie season is in the air! I will be sharing with you some easy, delicious, healthy and beautifying breakfast smoothies over the next few weeks. This one kids love too!
This EASY smoothie is a GREAT way to start the day, it is filling, full of antioxidants, vitamin B12, protein, omega 3 fatty acids and potassium. Blueberries are one of the best things you can eat for beautiful skin due to containing the highest number of antioxidants which neutralizes free radicals in your body so that it helps stop damage to your skin.
The banana, dates and blueberries make the perfect smoothie texture and the taste oh so good!
Blueberry Banana Smoothie Recipe
- 1 banana
- 1 table spoon of almond butter
- 1/2 cup of blueberries
- 1/2 cup of water & some ice cubes
- 2 dates
- splash of super foods like ground chia seeds, green powder, hemp powder etc… This one I added chia seeds and green powder.
Blend all ingredients in blender and serve!
I add a few blueberries on top! Enjoy! Make sure you add a few ice cubes to make it cold if you are not using frozen blueberries..
